We have Windows XP on a Dial up connection its a emachines computer. For the last couple of days we have been getting this message

The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction

That is the entire message its came up twice. What is it, What does it mean and can it be fixed??
This computer has been nothing but a headache recently it has been really slow and when we connect to the internet the pages don't want to display we have to refresh at least twice
Can any one help fix this mess??

Okay... so my boyfriend told me that he has been thinking about proposing to me, but he hasn't found a ring yet and says that he won't until he has one. I told he that the ring is not what makes a proposal special, it's the proposal itself and that he is willing to make that commitment, and the love of course! Anyway, my question is... what is the deal with not having a ring yet (like why would that stop him), and how soon do you think he will actually do it, considering the holidays are coming up and all?

I have an L5 disc bulge and want to avoid surgery. I've seen the ads for spinal decompression and want to learn more about it. what reasearch is out there?
I am not looking for opinions about this therapy just facts, so please do not answer this question if you are an angry person who hates everything and anything good, a doctor or therapist who does not like the therapy because of their own bias or does not have the therapy in their office. I can leave town and make $20 hr as a power plant tech.( the job i did in the navy) the plant is on strike and I will be locked in the plant working 12hr shifts 7 days a week till the strike is resolved. I work now as a construction labor/leadman making $15hr. there are 3 superintedants and 2 of them hate me and rain days are the norm this time of year. I enjoy working outside and hard work does not bother me. I have a wife and 4 month old child to think about
