It depends. Are liberals who try to wind up conservatives with their socialist agenda communists?

No I do not believe that conservatives are like Nazis, anymore than I believe liberals are Communists. When did it stop being acceptable to have different opinions in this country? Both extremes are equally guilty of outrageous rhetoric.

Challenge an extremist conservative they will call you unamerican or basically godless.
Challenge and extremist liberal and they will call you a hate monger, racist, or blind sheep.

Frankly both sides need to get down off of their high horses and just agree to disagree. intelligent debate on issues is good. Name calling is just destructive and useless.

No. There are very very few people or orgs that belong in the same catagory as Nazis. As much as I dislike their policies, Libs are not even close.

What is it with all the Nazis talk that seems to be used so freely? When are people going to get educated on what it's really all about?! I think the way they misuse it so badly is a real slap in the face to the victims of that period in history!

I wish people who so easily draw comparisons to the Nazi regime and current situations had a better understanding of history, and did not make such broad generalizations, Specifically, what 'fear mongering tactics' do you attribute to Nazi Germany? Specifically, what does it mean to 'wind up' liberals?' You, given the manner in which you state a question, could thus be described as a 'hate mongerer'... was that your intention?

Yes. They can't people with view different from theirs and think that if they resort to fear tactics that liberals will back down. Didn't work at election time though, did it?
