Are guys really too scared to call a girl up and ask her out?? wat up wid writing letters and all the he said she said crap? And what does a guy want in a girl?? what attracts them? is it just being skinny??

My boyfriend's a Telugu and (obviously!) I am not. I do know a few words though, namely, few nouns, movie names, interjections, relations, etc. I would like some book names or websites that would help me learn Telugu-the Italian of the East-faster. Thank you so much! :) Dhanyavaadaalu! :-)

For example if you had 5 years in the national guard and you were an e-5, but then you went active duty? Would you get payed E-5 w/ 5 years time in service, or would your drilling weekends count towards time in service for pay?

Me and some girlfriends were at a bar, and here walks in a common man, ok im an attractive female, im not being conceited but i have recieved many compliments for it and this man walks right next me without catching a glimpse. My friends and I try to make a scene which usually helps with the attention but nothing, i dont know what to do. I heard he has just moved to the area and comes to the bar regularly, I dont know if im being silly, but i have never walked up to a man they have always come to me, how should i handle this, and why cant i get over my fear.

I need to replace my 50" plasma TV that was stolen from my house. Originally I paid about $3150 at Sears plus tax and delivery. I now see that if I order it online, I can get it for about $2500. But I'm not sure if I trust having it shipped to my house, because I know how fragile the plasma screens are. Of course, I have no idea how Sears treated the TV I bought as it was being delivered (and the delivery guys were kind of sleazy anyway).

So, has anyone out there successfully ordered a big screen plasma TV online, and had it shipped to your house, and received it with no problems and no damage? If so, where did you buy it and how was it shipped? Thanks in advance.

I have had a chronic sinus problem for about 2 years now and I feel awful all of the time. I take asprin, sinus /allergy meds, and all but nothing helps. I am supposed to have a ct scan...will this help and what might they need to do to help releive my pain? Doyou believe it will help?

on the weekend at a special function, i let him know that i love him yet he never ackowledges what i do for him and how i love him. I called him selfish and inhumane and he called me a drunk like my stepmother and that i ruined his night. The next day i called to apologized and he said that we have differnet perspecives and that in 3 years we have talked to each other a total of two weeks. He is work obsessed and i need to let him go. Please help and did i do the wrong thing by telling him how i felt even though the timing was really bad?

I can't stand her with her southern accent and hillbilly slang. She looks like she needs too eat more, too. I think her most annoying song is "I'm Just Like You". No one said she wasn't "just like us". In my opinion, she's just the daughter of a famous person who got lucky, she doesn't even sing well. What do you think? Maybe I'm just too cynical. :)

He says he only wants to spend time with me and not my family. Says my family always looks at him wierd bec he is Mexican (I'm white), but my fam is not prejudice, I think he is making this up as an excuse or just doesn't want to hang w/everyone...we have been togaether for 5 plus years...do not live togeather though...there have been the usual ups and downs of a family, fights etc but my family is accepting and welcoming to him. He will come over for a little while but then he leaves. Sometimes he says he will come and ends up not. I know he loves me but I don't get him. He also has a big family his own self and is like the caretaker of the whole family, they are all adults but he is the responsible one.Do you think this is normal or acceptable..what would you do?

I used to be more active and i am looking to gain back some of the muscle tone i used to have i dont have a lot of time since i am working full time and going to school as well I was wondering in pilates is any good but i dont know any one who has used it. I am looking to commit to something i just dont want to waste time or money on things that wont work. (Thats why I wont get a gym membership I tried that once but i am too busy to go enough for it to help)

burn differently in different temperatures? I know, of course, that rain or snow or other weather related elements would affect it, but what about two environments where, assuming no rain/snowfall, the only difference between the two is an extreme difference in temperature? Thanks!

he walk away from me so easily when we have a problem. why doesnt he try and compromise things. and why is it his way or not at all. thats not love. is it? what is he trying to prove and why does he lie and not do the things my way sometime. why is he always gawking at other women. these kind of things hurt. but he says he loves me and want to be with me. can someone help me understand his motives. i treat him very well and dont deserve to be done like this. and on top of that i noticed that he is extremely nice when we havent had sex in a while. what is going on here. plz be truthful even if it hurts. tell me what do you see from what i told you guys. thank you.

So, I don't know if he really likes me or not. He's said that when he breaks up with his girlfriend he would date me, but he said this about 3 months ago, and still nothing. He comes to my work to see me and talk with me, and he calls me "his girl" (of course I always correct him and tell him I'm not). Does he only want to cheat on his girlfriend with me or does he really like me?

Honestly, I only attract guys with girlfriends. No joke.
