Was it possible a century ago for someone to be a good person and believe other races were inferior?

Do you think anyone who died believing that other races are inferior will go to Heaven?

Personally I'm partial to the Indy 500, and the Boston marathon and feel that all other races are inferior, and now you come along asking people if they think I might go to hell for this? What a horrible thing to do to someone.

If the other races ARE inferior, yes, they would still be a "good person". A "bad person" would lie to themselves or others and pretend that they were all equal at the expense of the truth.

HOWEVER, I have yet to see proof that any one race is superior (although some clearly have advantages in some areas while others make up for it in other ways).

So I guess I'm safe thinking I'm not better than anyone, at least until further proof comes in (and after Hitler's Nazis, I think I'll wait a few decades to be sure the proof is really proved before I believe it). I think we're all safer just seeing each other as people, no better, no worse.

In any age it is possible to be good person and still thing that others are inferior/superior. An intellectual argument as such, is not the whole mark for deciding the eternal future of your soul. Maybe the compassion that someone shows to those inferior/superior to you is more likely to land you in the right or wrong place for ever.

Yes to all three questions. The truth is that ignorance is not necessarily evil. If you are taught that man has evolved from a monkey, and that (for instance) the ***** is a lower form of humankind, you may NOT be hateful, just misinformed and ignorant. Since I believe the bible (which is supported by TRUE science), I believe man was created in the image of Almighty God. So, if this person is a Christian (truly trusting in God's grace and mercy, through the shed blood of Jesus) but hasn't been taught the truth, they can still go to heaven. I can say that a hateful person is probably not one who has put his trust in Jesus, thus will not meet the requirement for heaven.

I think that you might feel different if you looked at people on an individual basis, not on the stereotype of their race as a whole. Skin is skin, its what is inside that counts. I don't know if that matters in your religion, do you treat people badly because of their race, or have you harmed someone simply because of their race? I am not a Christian but if I remember correctly you are supposed to ask forgiveness and you will get in anyway. So shouldn't hurt you at the gate, but it may limit your life experiences here not to open your mind. Best wishes

it depends. if they were mean to those races or disrespectfull for no reason, then they will be burning for all eternity. If they just had an opinion, but respected all man kind no matter what, then sure they can go to heaven. And once they get there, they'll realize we are all perfect not matter what color our skin is. bye byebye

No, we are one human race.

Godin His grace may accept some who trusted in Christ alone for their salvation even through their ignorance of races.
