My boyfriend's a Telugu and (obviously!) I am not. I do know a few words though, namely, few nouns, movie names, interjections, relations, etc. I would like some book names or websites that would help me learn Telugu-the Italian of the East-faster. Thank you so much! :) Dhanyavaadaalu! :-)

Total immersion, meaning you need to be in the country where it is spoken for several years, and all you have around you are Teluguns who do not know a word of English. All you see are newspapers, magazines, street signs, all in Telugu. Dhanyavaadaalu to you too.

The best way to learn a language is to practice speaking it with people that speak it.
