I know I sound callow when I ask this question, but how can we get out of Iraq while saving face?

I think we should add 50,000 more soldiers, go on a three month CRACKDOWN campaign, declare Iraq stable, and get out of there. FAST! Then again, I wouldn't want to be apart of that extra 50,000.

Maybe I'm overthinking it. Maybe we should just declare that our mission to be successful and leave. I don't see anything wrong with leaving Iraq and then spinning it as a victory. lol...Hey, don't laugh, at least it's a plan.

I am a SAHM and we have a 6 year old son whom we homeschool. My DH got a job 1 hour away and we would like to move closer to work. We want to rent but can't find a place yet.
BIL tell mom they want to "help" us. BIL told mom he wanted to buy a property for us to rent. They tell us to go to moms and we all will diascuss it then. We went to moms and they sat us down, pulled out a budget form and showed us shack places and gave us a lecture "Why do you want to move"? Why can't you buy?" They basically ridiculed their mom by claiming she got it all wrong and they are not going to help us other than inform us what we need to do. This is not the second time. This time I told them off, my MIL told them off and my DH is going to yet tell them off. I told DH :"no more mrs nice guy". I am going to be bluntly honest. I am tired of the tummy aches and headaches I get because I am so nervous around them. Any ideas on how to keep them from doing this again?

I'm very wary about giving out my credit card details online, so always look for the secure padlock sign (bottom right corner) when I do. I recently went to sign-up with itunes, but noticed that on the credit card page there's no padlock sign, or even a dialogue box telling you I'm connecting to a secure server. Just how secure is itunes with your cc details when giving them? And even if it is an ecrypted/secure page, why doesn't the padlock symbol some up?

my 7 year old daughter is still wetting herself i have tried everything and she has been to the doctors on several occasions and they just give antibiotics she doesnt do this at night time just at school i have been to the school and talked and they say there is no problem. i try not to make a big deal out of it but dont want her to get bullied at school any suggestion but please only sensible ones.

I was told why my car wouldn't start after changing out the the fuel pump,fuel relay,fuel filter etc.My dad has went back and checked all the wiring from the parts that were replaced and they were installed correctly but the car still want start and it has a full tank of gas and when I try to start it the battery runs down.Can someone please tell me what is going on?

So, my boyfriend is still friends with his ex (he broke up with her), and to make things even more difficult.... I am also friends with her. I know they're like best friends, and I know I cannot stop them from hanging out (and I wouldn't try) But it still hurts to hear about them hanging out together when I'm not there, N about how she just shows up at his house to hang out, N about how much fun they have because I know she still likes him(even tho she is seeing someone). I don't complain about her, and I don't say anything when he talks about her because I don't want him to think that I'm nagging or jealous or anything, but idk, what should I do? Would it be a bad idea to bring it up or should I just leave the subject alone?

In an effort to live up to the media hype that the Democrats are going to sweep the elections, they have trotted out some of the best victims Hollywood has to offer. Michael J. Fox (Alex P. Keaton he is not) is now doing commercials in House districts where the once triumphant Democrats were pounding their evil Republican opponents (e.g. Missouri, Illinois). He stops his meds before filming to get the best effects and then he blames the evil Republicans for blocking a cure for his debilitating disease. A couple was dressed and ready to go out for the evening. They turned off lights, covered their parakeet & put the cat in the backyard. They phoned for a taxi. The taxi arrived and the couple opened the door to leave. The cat rushed back into the house. They don't want the cat shut in the house because "she" always tries to eat the bird.
The wife goes out to the taxi while the husband goes inside to get the cat. The cat runs upstairs, the man in hot pursuit. The wife doesn't want the driver to know the house will be empty. She explains to the taxi driver that her husband will be out soon.
"He's just going upstairs to say goodbye to my mother."
A few minutes later, the husband gets into the cab.
"Sorry I took so long" he says as they drove. "Stupid bctih was hiding under the bed. Had to poke her with a coat hanger to get her to come out! Then I had to wrap her in a blanket to keep her from scratching me. But it
worked! I hauled her fat as$ downstairs and threw her into the backyard!"

My question is , How many on line have family , friends, or other know relatives, that are working on the (china opps) american wall rather boarderto keep Mexicans out of the states, and fell this is all a waste of time and money when it is known that, in the ear future.
