I think there was a huge zealot movement in the 1800's about the end of the world. The 'leader' did some detailed research. Even after the end date came & went, there were still followers. Soooo, I guess common sense doesn't have the same effect on everyone.
I won't be going to either on account of their not existing.

If god created the devil, then surely god is the ultimate responsibility for sin and evil. All I'm saying is its not so simple.

Besides, I don't believe in god, its not that I don't want to be a good person, quite the opposite, but I reject the idea that to be a good person you have to believe in Jesus.

Well, a deceiver by his very nature... uh, well... deceives.

And if he decieves, than people are being deceived.

And if someone is being deceived by the deceiver, what shall the deceiver gain from his deceit except a follower.

And if one follows the deceiver, then they are not on the side of Jesus Christ, now are they?

So yeah. They'd want to follow Satan because he deceived them into doing so, through any number of false religions/philosophies.

I'm not sure that non believers know that they are choosing between Satan and God. If they don't believe in God, they probably don't believe Satan exists, either. So, I think it is mostly blind ignorance that causes some people to reject the Christ, Jesus. Then again, I suppose there are some who believe in Jesus Christ and Satan, but choose Satan's way because it *seems* easier for the time being. Peace.

The end of the world has been coming for billions of years where have you been? In this universe everything that starts must end sometime.

Myself I'm going to lead a life doesn't step on the toes of others. And I'm not going to worry about the devil what ever his/her name is.

The end of world had been coming, is coming, will be coming for all those who die. By the way, what is the source of your information about the nearing end of world? People since centuries had been saying that to frighten people and thereby attracting them to their religion.
