OK, heard this on a course I was on today. It was mentioned in a Project management concept.

But... then someone said that it meant something completely different where he came from, which was Oxfordshire.

It's obviously rude - so can anyone explain - in not too crude a manner?

I've just read a report where a mother has been denied custody of her 6 yr old child because she smoked 20 a day(in the US). do you agree with this decision? do you think that she smoked cigarettes made her a bad mother
nb. the decision was taken after she quit.

Is a 5 - 10 or maybe 15 min. walk good after a meal(lunch or dinner)....I've heard both..yes and no...that it is good for digestion and on the other hand, its bad for you(i dont know why)..But i want to get everyones opinion..What do you guys think..Or maybe whats the best way to improve your digestion after a heavy meal?

they always say things like how can you believe something you have no proof of well do you have absolute undeniable proof that there was a big explosion that created a planet and put life on the planet and gave all the planets inhabitants the necessary things it needs to survive such as air and water

My ex fiance' slept with my whore cousin (she slepts with anything that looks at her.......apparently that boosts her self esteem). I found out because we all worked together and they we messing around on day shift with each other while I was by myself on night shift. I found out cause they left work early together one day. I was calling him and he wasn't answering. I finally called her and asked. I was like look slut, for the sake of my kick did you sleep with him. She was like oops yea sorry, we are just friends. *****..I didn't talk to him a while after that, then he called and begged me to talk to him. So I gave in. We have a kid together and my daughter missed him. We have been together after this all happened for over a year now. We have known eachother for 3. I dont trust him to this day. Funny cause he doesn't trust me now either because of what he did. He opened his eyes up to the world of cheating, now he questions me. Jack ***. I do care for him though. Any tips?

I don't need to be validated or anything like that. I just wish I knew more clairaudients to see what they do with their gift. How about job training? Maybe a time limit, no lifetime leeches. I like the idea of social programs being in place just in case someone is down on their luck. Though it has to be better regulated, how about making it a state issue and not a federal issue?

The following is one of my poems. I asked yesterday how to know if I was good? Well, here you go, give me an opinion.

The Flame
Can you see it burning?
The flame gets so hot in our hearts.
It makes us never want to be apart.
All the magic in the world can not equal the magic in our LOVE.
Some say we go together like a hand in a glove.
Do you feel it burning?
Or is your heart still learning?
Learning to accept the love that you feel.
Trying so hard to go on and heal.
To heal from the heartache from not so long ago.

My boyfriend and I have been going out for two months. I'm 23, and he's my first relationship, and was even my first kiss - I know, it's crazy! Anyway, in January we're planning on moving away from home to a city and getting a house with a friend or two. We're even thinking of having our own bedrooms. This move isn't just to get away from home, but to find better jobs - we're both in film, and film doesn't happen in small towns. If we move there seperately, we'd visit each other all the time. It would be more financially beneficial to live together, right?

My question is, for those of you who've done the "living together" thing, is this a good set-up and idea? He's not just my boyfriend, he's my friend, you know? And I think we'd be wonderful roommates. But is this a disaster waiting to happen, even though I can't foresee anything bad happening now?

Sometimes when Im alone and Im thinking about my life and others' I mourn the fact that I have chosen 'this' life. Asking myself if this is what I really wanted.

You see I am a single mom of a 7 mo old & I have a great job that provides very well for the two of us. I am able to have my own apartment, car, life... I mean, Im making it pretty well. And in rare moments, I pat myself on the back. Im a great mom and it feels good.

But then again, there are those times when I get sad b/c I could have done ANYTHING. I could be living ANYWHERE. Instead, I live in a small town & am not currently working my dream job. I could have gone to culinary school... I could be in college right now... I could be going out every nite and meeting new ppl. Instead I go from work to pick up my son... take him home, bathe him, feed him, play... & rock him to sleep. & that is all worth it. I love it.

But then I get upset again b/c of the "what ifs". However, his smile or giggle melts me.
