I'm very wary about giving out my credit card details online, so always look for the secure padlock sign (bottom right corner) when I do. I recently went to sign-up with itunes, but noticed that on the credit card page there's no padlock sign, or even a dialogue box telling you I'm connecting to a secure server. Just how secure is itunes with your cc details when giving them? And even if it is an ecrypted/secure page, why doesn't the padlock symbol some up?

I can't help you with the symbol but we've had an i-tunes account for ages and haven't had any security worries.

Hope this helps.

I have used it many times without any problem,I must say I had never even noticed the missing padlock, which I am quite surprised at as I am usually cautious.
