Do you agree with the following statement made by one of my colleagues?

"Democrats rigorously maintain that Clinton did everything in his power to fight terror...however now they throw up every road block that we need to fight it today...audio and financial surveillance, the Patriot Act and aggressive interrogation. They can't have it both ways. Now they say that our proactive attack of terror is breeding more terrorists. When we went to Europe to fight the Nazis did we create more Nazis? Under their twisted logic...we are not
supposed to do anything because it will anger our enemy. These people are truly psychotic."

I absolutely do, althought I don't think that they are ALL psychotic(!)

well last nite my guy friend and i were talking on the phone and he came out and told me that he was MADLY in love with me and would love it if we could get together(im married so is he). I'd like to give my brother and his fiancee a cash gift for his wedding. They will be buying a house in the spring and I wanted to give them something significant. I'm not loaded but I now make a decent living and am capable of reciprocating. When I went off to grad school my brother gave me a check for 1,500 dollars to help me out with spending money. I'd like to replicate this with my gift to him....is it too much? He's my best friend and I feel like if I can, I should but I wonder if others might think it to be over the top...ideas?

I ordered some products from hifisoundconnection.com on Aug 20th. By Sept. 7th i still hadn't recieved them and I canceled the order and a week went by and my money still wasnt back in the bank. I started to call them everyday and ask about my money. Now they have blocked my phone number and wont return my emails. They have my money and the products. My husband has anger issues he gets really mad when driving he would swerve and cut people off and slam on the brakes to scare the people behind him. He has also punched holes and thrown things slammed doors and he says he has always been this way even in high school he was a bully he says everybody he knows is like this. I cant take it anymore when he yells he scares our 2yr old. The anger doesnt happen all the time it could pop up for no reason if we have a disagreement and then its all rage and i tell him i want him out of the house then the next day its like it never happened and everything is good for a couple of months. i have been fed up with the whole pattern and i suggested anger manegment he said he does not need help because those peole are hacks and are just going to come up with a reason for him to be there just to get his money. He said he has been trying for the last week to be better and he can do it on his own. I have a hard time believing that should i trust him?

Is it a peaceful simple place to live. What are jobs and housing like. Do they or did they use to have free healthcare. I particylarly want Info about jobs in the tourism industry since thats the field I want to get into. What is crime like. Are people nice and friendly. I don't have a high standard of living. I want to dump this materialistic U.S society and live a simple life.
