LOL
hey you can't use logic to unravel a faith that has none
but maybe point to the fact little exists about satan, hell, the 3 day experience etc in the Bible but is found rather in pagan mythology or other secular texts, to include the dramatization of Dante's Inferno taken further than the Jews did with refferences to a grave, a place of death and rest like...the ground not Hades or Hell (greek mythology, egyptian mythology)

Another good question---Is it reasonable that a God of love would torture sinful, imperfect humans for an eternity?( which is a very long time by the way.) This is another false teaching that Satan uses to his advantage and one that Christendom blatantly teaches. The belief that God is sadistic and imposes such a cruel punishment on his creation makes many turn away from God. Satan loves it when people who claim to worship a loving Creator actually make him out to be a heartless tyrant.
Jesus was in hell for three days because hell is mankind's common grave. Jesus said he has the keys to death and hell. Why would he need keys to either?
Well, keys are used to open things and Jesus will use the symbolic keys to open hell up (resurrect those who have died and are in the grave) The Bible says that death and hell will be destroyed so no one will be in "hell" forever. ( Revelation 20:14)
This Scripture is a very good one to show that hell is not a place of eternal torment: "The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath." ( Proverbs 15:24) Even the wise are in hell (grave) and can depart either to life in heaven or life on the earth.
Jesus offered up his perfect life for humans in exchange for the perfect life that Adam lost which resulted in his offspring inheriting sin and death. Jesus opened up the way for all of us to gain back what Adam lost---the hope of living forever, in perfection, on a cleansed earth, just as it was meant to be.

Good question.
The answer is: Jesus didn't pay the full price for everybody's sins.
If he did, not only would he still be in hell, but humans would no longer have to die, and God could no longer send anyone to hell, as Jesus would have already paid the full price.
The "price" that Jesus did pay was his human life, which was illegally taken away by the forces of evil, who were led by Satan.
The price wasn't "paid" to anyone (especially not Satan). Jesus' redemptive mission "cost" him a lot of suffering, and eventually, his human life.
By allowing himself to be unjustly put to death, Jesus permitted Satan to commit a crime whose subsequent penalty would result in Satan's power over mankind being legitimately and permanently taken away.
Once mankind was no longer dominated by Satan, repentance for sin became practical, and God was more than willing to forgive ... especially since his sinless, resurrected, and triumphant son was now the new head of all mankind.
Those who mistakenly believe that Christ paid the "full price" are in error. The evidence can be found in any graveyard.
The Catholic church has always taught this clearly, from the very beginning. It is the latecomers who got it wrong.

He isn't in Hell because, while He did take on the sins of the world, He was sinless. He is perfect. He was paying the penalty to God because God demands justice. The punishment for sin is death and eternal seperation from God. But Jesus was perfect so his punishment for us isn't the same as it would have been if we had to take our own punishment.

When did you hear that He isn't? He Himself said that before Abraham was. I AM.. He existed presently before Abraham was created. That mean He is present in all time. On the cross, in the tomb, and in the punishment of Hell. He will always be there because He is present in all times. He is the only one who could offer such an eternal sacrifice for sin... Jim

Sad to say, when most people hear the word 'hell' they think of a fiery place with people being tortured.
That was Dante's invention, not the Bible's.
According to the Bible, hell is 6 feet under, the grave.
Job, while being persecuted, asked to go to hell. Job 14:13.
It doesn't make sense he would ask to be tortured by fire, since he was already getting enough torture on earth.
He just wanted to cease to exist.

the punishment for sin is death, he paid the price because he died even thou he did not sin,
Since he paid the price, all will have eternal life, not just the rightness.
the question is where will you chose to spend eternity? with God or in hell?

Jesus took our sins to hell, so we wouldn't have to, but He is One with God and even the gates of hell can't contain Him. We are not Jesus, we would not be able to escape hell, and thus our sins would condemn us to hell until Judgement Day, when hell itself will be cast into the Lake of Fire.
