my best friend since 5th grade just got married. i am so happy for her. my question is should i be mad that i wasnt her maid of honor or even a brides maid? she instead picked some one shes only known for about two years. i feel hurt and betrayed b/c growing up we always said that wed be eachothers maid of honor. we are both 20 and there was a couple of years we didnt hang out as much before the wedding but we still talked. i just dont understand why she did this. i feel hurt and betrayed very much. even at the wedding i almost cried but i didnt want to say anything about it. and ruin her day. what are your thoughts and please be serious, im really hurt.

Surely there has to be a guy out there that cried during or after sex from the...greatness(for lack of a better word), or the level of intimacy, of it. I wouldn't joke on a man who did or does. I would love for men to drop that macho persona and release himself totally to the sexual experience, or any intimate experience.

I attended a wedding for my daughter's best friend (who is a man) in August. Today I received a thank you printed out and copied. The note said that he did not believe in real thank you cards as they are commercial. Then he went on to say that if you gave money, thank you as it helped with their honeymoon, and if you gave a gift, thank you as we have found a place for it in our beautiful new home, and it was signed by only him as he said his wife was sending thank you's to her family and friends. I chalked all this up to him being a man, but my daughter is P*SSED.
She says that both should have written thank you's as they are now a team, and that it should have been personalized given we've known him for so long, and have done so much for him.
She plans on talking to him about it, but she's a little hot headed sometimes so I worry about that. Who's right here?

We are building a new home (new construction) and are having the bath tub and shower removed from the master bath, to be replaced with a custom shower. The shower will be enclosed with a wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling frameless glass frame and door. The glass will be held up by a 12" soffit coming down from the 8' ceiling, and the interior shower ceiling will be 8' in height. The builder has suggested that they are not planning to tile the ceiling, but that it will be a higher-quality type of drywall than usual. They said they are not planning to tile the ceiling in case there are any plumbing problems in the future (so it would be easier to get to the plumbing: one detail is that we will have a rain shower head coming from the ceiling in between two standard heads). I am concerned that the ceiling will peel and become damaged by condensation and steam...

When this all started North Korea agreed to trade out their graphite-moderated reactors with light-water reactor, and the us would provide them with an annual 500,000 tons of fuel to help meet the deficit until the plant was completed. They renigged on that agreement just a couple years after ground breaking, and reopened their old plants and waste and began enrichnig uranium for warheads.

considering that the country has comepletey disregarded all their commitments agreed upon at all the completed six (and three) party talks, which resulted in them increasingly strengthening their nuclear arms program, how do we trust these people?

If the US agrees to their demands, it would not only leave their neighbors open to attack (and environmental contamination), but they would carry on their devious way with full nuclear capabilities and no way of stupping them short of war.

So what do you think?
