I have this morbid fear of my mum dying and lately that fear has become more real as she has put herself in a situation that could be life threatening. I know that as a christian I am told all the time that I shouldn't live in fear but this is something that I asked God to help me with and so far I have had no response!! LOL.
I also am terrified to die myself because I would hate to die and think that I hadn't lived my life. I know my time isn't up yet! At least I think I do. At least I hope I do.
My friends think I'm ridiculous because I used to be a bit of a hypochondriac, but I'm genuinely terrified!

My 10th grade brother often brings home his friends who usually wont even give me the time of day. Well, there is one guy, taylor, who is always hanging out with me even if he is there for my brother. i like him a lot, maybe love but i dont know how to tell him or even see if he likes me back. he is soo sweet, caring, and kind to me. i want to go out with him.

i want to have about an 8 in sub and better speakers than the ones stock in my 02 accord ex coupe i also need an amp but im not expecting a blow my ears out with sound i want a good clear sound i can feel and that passerbys can hear just enough to know what music is playing ....do i need to worry about a head unit? will the stock one do?what kind of power do i need ?do i need to worry about my alternator or battery ? having no expierience should i try this project myself? what will it cost for self installation rather than if i get someone else to do it? how difficult of a task is this for me?in laymans terms how can i get the best sounding stereo on a budget of no more than 1000 dollars? primarily concerned with the actual componants on my car going bad if i have too much power coming off my stereo. what can i do to have my car and stereo running tight?

If Jesus was all about parables for leading people to better lives, and Jesus is God, or at least His son, and God wrote the Bible....

then why CAN'T the Bible just be a book of parables???

people seem to think its a history book. why does it have to be JUST so?

and if you say "cause God said so" or "the Bible says" then you're wasting your time because i have to go on the assumption that the Bible is truth, and thats what the question is.

If i asked "What is the Bible?" you would only answer "the Bible" if you had no idea what actually answering a question meant.

I've had the same best friend for about 15 years. Lately he's turning into someone I don't want to be around. I've tried talking to him about it, but he just ignores it.
