Medical Advice (Infection)...Could you please help?

My mum won't take me to a dr. I have no way of going to one. She won't even let me see a GYN yet, either. I'm A 19 YR. OLD FEMALE and I think this is my first yeast infection. I can't afford Monistat 7. So, I had to go to the dollar store to buy what they had. I'm itching really bad and it burns sometimes. I itch from the front (from where I pee) all the way to the back (where my anus meets the vulva). I've used medicine extrenally for 3 days, but i've only used it internally for 2 days. Someone...anyone...PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE HELP!

Is it wrong to make fun of someones beliefs?

Because it is so damn funny to watch religious people get so angry!!!! WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Americans are more socially isolated than they were 20 years ago, separated by work, commuting and the single life, researchers reported on Friday.

Nearly a quarter of people surveyed said they had "zero" close friends with whom to discuss personal matters. More than 50 percent named two or fewer confidants, most often immediate family members, the researchers said.

"This is a big social change, and it indicates something that's not good for our society," said Duke University Professor Lynn Smith-Lovin, lead author on the study to be published in the American Sociological Review.

Smith-Lovin's group used data from a national survey of 1,500 American adults that has been ongoing since 1972.

She said it indicated people had a surprising drop in the number of close friends since 1985. At that time, Americans most commonly said they had three close friends

Can you teach an old cat new tricks?

Ok, my husband has this cat that he's had since he was atleast 6. That makes this cat upwards of 19 right now. When we moved in together, his parents didn't let us take her (thinking she was too old and the car ride alone would kill her). After 6 months, his parents were so fed up with her urinating every where but her litter box they made us take her. That was a year ago. Now, we have tried every kind of litter and litter box under the sun. It's like she doesn't realize she's a cat and is too good to use the box. Half the time, she urinates on the carpet (we put plastic bags and paper down in the area she frequents) and maybe once a week she'll poop on the mat by the door. Is there anything else we can try to keep her deterred from the carpet? We've tried chemicals/spray that are supoosed to work, but they don't. PS- we also took her to the vet to check for infections or kidney degeneration and she's in tip top shape. HELP!!

Is it a good idea to major in Psychology?

I've always loved psychology, it's so interesting to me.. Is it a good idea to major in psychology? People say it's difficult because to become a sucessful psychologist, you need to get a pHD in it. I've been told that that's pretty difficult and that I should really reconsider and look at a different major. Can anyone please explain the whole process in detail?
