Oh, good question. Well, as a guitarist myself I can name two for you: Bill Black was the bassist and Scotty Moore was the guitarist. He played through vintage Fender amps and played a variety of Gibson hollowbodies and Fender Telecasters. Scotty, I believe, is still alive...I remember reading an interview with him in it in GuitarWorld Magazine. Hope that helps...
