I think you can do it with your checking or savings act. Are you trying to sell or buy? If you are trying to buy then you can probably just send a check or money order to the seller if they accept that.

You dont need a credit card to bid and buy, just make sure the seller will accept checks or money orders before you bid.
You do need to give a credit card or bank account information to sell, but that doesnt mean a mastercard. A debit card (from your checking account) should be fine. For more details, check out the information they have about selling on ebay. (I think its under "my ebay" once you register)

set up a paypal account - and then select a payment of method as your bank. All you need is a cheque, and just fill in the blanks. Most sellers, if not all, accept paypal now. So, here's the link just in case ya need it!
Edit: I should also point out, that if you don't have a credit card, and you're just signing up for ebay...they need to "Verify" your address, so, they'll send ya a confirmation # via Snail mail. And, then when ya get that letter, just sign into ebay, and it'll ask ya for it.
That could take up to a week or more. It took a little over a week for me when i signed up a couple years ago with no card.
Now i have a card lol

If you mean to buy, some people allow you to pay by check or money order. I don't have a paypal account and I refuse to give out a credit card number. I've never had any problems, I just make sure that the seller is OK with it.
If you mean to set up the account, I don't think I ever had to provide that, but I set up my account 3 years ago, so I might be wrong.
Happy eBaying!!!

You dont need a credit card to buy stuff alot of prople have money orders or personal checks as payment. You can also set up a paypal account that links to your bank if you have a checking or savings account. If yoiu are using your yahoo email to set up the account it does ask for a credit card or some other way they can identify you to make sure you wont be a non paying bidder.

You can set up a paypal account and have money transferred from your checking or savings account. Some sellers will take money orders or cashier's checks as well, but make sure to read their terms.
