Unfortunately there is nothing you can do. It will soon die. I tried to nurture one back to health a few years ago. You can't give it what it needs. This sounds cruel and heartless but put it out in a shady place and let nature take its course. It's sad as butterflies are such beautiful creatures but it's for the best.

What's the injury? If it's missing part of a leg, it'll be fine to go. Ripped wing? Unfortunately, it can't be fixed. The life span of a butterfly is only a week or two (monarchs & some others are noteably longer), so if it's simply lying there looking looking like Uncle Bubba after 2 beers, it may be on the way out the door anyway.

Well, for an injured butterfly, there is not much you can do. You should just put it back out where you found it. I know it may be sad, but you gotta let 'nature take its course' like everyone else is saying. It will be fine, just leave it alone, in the shade or something, it'll be okay. Goodluck!

There really isn't a lot you can do. They're very fragile creatures. You can put it in a cage for a while if you think you'd be protecting it from predators, but it will die eventually from its injury.

it depends on its injuries for one thing. Butterflies are very delicate creatures and there really isnt a whole lot you could do for it
