i saw on his comic strip that it is close to his birthday...so whens the big day?

I'm a bus rider, to work and back most days. I work at a phone center and must talk ALL DAY to people I'd rather not talk to. I get on the bus, take my favorite seat in the back, and plug in my iPod. Is it so wrong that I'm done talking to people I don't care about about stuff that doesn't matter, or at least won't matter after the hour long bus ride is over (I'm usually the last person off the bus, except the driver)
This one guy started talking AT me, since I wasn't listening, and would not stop. There was a rattle on the bus that got louder, and he said "I'm going to move up front where we can hear each other." so I said "I'm staying her, thanks" He looked at me like I shot a nun.

My one co-woprker is the opposite, and his bus is full of chatter, and he loves it. for the most part, mine is full of not so awkward silence.

I know some churches do. And I wouldn't trust the government. And I want to help here first sorry no room for more until then.
But I don't see groups (nice big ones) getting Clothes drives and Misc bandages, soaps and health needs, cleaning aids (personal). Self survival tools-goats, pigs, chickens ect. Books (many hard times books and enough do know how to read and many are in Spanish).

No reason with as many here who support them that this could not be done in big time way. (better than protests to me)

I feel they do need survival skills.
So why are there not more of these groups in a big way, California alone could do much--and in a real big way.??

My retriever has been sick for the last 5 days, shes been wreching, and her "buisness" seems fine, she still wants to eat so I feed her rice, and other things soft on her stomach. We took her to the vet saturday, they took x-rays of her and found nothing. She has gotten much worse since saturday, shes now to the point where she can not stand up, she crawls on the floor, and needs much coaxing to move anywhere. We are taking her to the vet again tomorrow morning. We are now worried that she may have eatin a poisonous spider, or something soft, like a sock that the x-ray could not pick up. If any of you have had these symptoms with your dog please tell me what the outcome was, it will be greatly appretiated.

I have struggled with my weight my entire life. I am obese. I have recently lost 30 pounds but it's hard for me to lose more weight. Other than my weight, stress is my only risk factor for a heart attack. I recently started working out in an effort my improve my heart's health. I'm not a diabetic; i don't have high cholesterol.

Just wanted an opinion. I haven't been able to find stats about young adults having heart attacks.

As we sit looking through yearbooks, with tissues all around.

Oh, if it could stay like this forever.
Friends, good times, so simple,
Our lives all joined happily as one.

But we must move on, separate the rope that is all our lives.
We are different, now more then ever.
And now what joined us separates us.

Friends are always friends they all say.
But we must stop pretending it will be the same.

One historical event that is often overlooked but that is very significant when trying to understand the Middle East is the original Jihad by which Islam conquered Israel from the Romans.
