FOR APPETIZERS I WOULD SERVE SHRIMP COCKTAIL, PAN SEARED TUNA WITH PESTO AND TEQUILA LIME PAN SEARED SCALLOPS.
TO GO ALONG WITH YOUR HONEY BAKED HAM I WOULD SERVE SOME PORK FRIED RICE FROM MY FAVORITE CHINESE PLACE (EASIER THAN MAKING IT YOURSELF) AND BAKED VIDALIA ONIONS IN BALSAMIC VINEGAR REDUCTION.
FOR DESSERT I WOULD SERVE GRILLED PINEAPPLE KABOBS WITH WARM NUTELLA (CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT SAUCE) FOR DIPPING
DRINKS COULD BE DONE THE EASY WAY AND MAKE PINEAPPLE PUNCH (1 BOTTLE CHAMPAGNE, I LARGE CAN PINEAPPLE JUICE, I LITER GINGER ALE AND FROZEN ORANGE JUICE ICE CUBES) OR YOU COULD HAVE A MIXED DRINK BAR WITH MAI TAI'S, PINA COLADA'S AND SEA BREEZE'S
HOPE YOU ENJOY YOUR LUAU.

An easy fruit salad is as follows
Ingredence :
1 large can of fruit cocktail drained well.
1 bag mounds flaked coconut (optinal)
1 bag mini marshmallows (white or colored is up to you.)
Sour Cream.
in a large bowl mix fruit, and sour cream well, add in coconut (if you want) next goes the marshmallows. You can layer the top with the extra marshmallows if you wish.
Let it sit in the fridge for a few hours to chill, serve and enjoy.
If you really like pineapple, you can add a can of drained chunk pineapple into the mix too.
Also works well with tropical fruit cocktail too.
If you would rather serve chicken heres a good recipe I found and used for my hawaiian b-day party last year.
Hawaiian Kabobs
1 1/2 lbs boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1 inch cubes
1 (15 1/4 ounce) can unsweetened pineapple chunks
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons ground ginger
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
1 large green pepper, 1 inch pieces
12 medium mushrooms
18 cherry tomatoes
hot cooked rice
6 servings
32 minutes
12 mins prep
Put chicken in large shallow dish.
Drain pineapple, keep 1/2 cup juice.
Set pineapple aside.
Mix juice with the next 7 ingredients in small pan.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Pour over chicken.
Cover and chill for 1 hour.
Remove chicken from marinade, reserve marinade.
Alternate chicken, pineapple, green pepper, mushrooms, and tomatoes on skewers.
Grill kabobs over hot coals 20 minutes or until chicken is done.
Turn and baste frequently with marinade.
Serve over hot rice
excuse any misspellings

How to Throw a Hawaiian Luau Party
If you are throwing a party, try going with a Hawaii theme and throw your own luau. A luau is basically a Hawaiian feast to celebrate special occasions like weddings, birthday parties, holidays, etc. Like a Texas barbeque, luaus are usually held outdoors, but if that's not feasible where you live, you can hold it indoors. The main thing is for everyone to enjoy the food, the company, and the atmosphere. Throwing a Hawaiian party can be easy and fun if you just follow a few simple steps. For products related to your luau, visit our Party Time section in our store. We recommend the book, "Entertaining Hawaiian Style" for recipes, ideas and planning your party.
Get the proper attire and attitude. This means fun Hawaiian shirts or dresses and a fun care-free attitude. Let your guests know ahead of time that the party will have a Hawaiian theme and encourage them to wear their favorite Hawaiian attire.
Put on your favorite Hawaiian CD to create a festive mood for your guests.
Get a bunch of silk flower leis for you and your guests. If you want, you can go with the more expensive real flower leis shipped from Hawaii. Real or fake, the leis add a touch of authenticity to your party.
Serve traditional Hawaiian luau food. This usually includes poi (if you can't get fresh poi in a bag, we have convenient poi powder,...just add water), kalua pig (see recipe below), lomi salmon (see recipe below), chicken long rice (see recipe below), and haupia. You can also have pineapple or other tropical fruits and chocolate covered or salted macadamia nuts since they are almost universally popular.
Make tropical drinks like Hawaiian iced tea, pineapple juice, pina coladas, daiquiris, and mai tais. We recommend the book, "101 Great Tropical Drinks" for ideas and recipes.
Set up the entrees on a single table buffet-style, decorated with flowers (real or fake) and other tropical touches.
Use paper or plastic plates and utensils. Some paper plates come with tropical designs on them for added flair.
If you throw your party outdoors, set up a few tiki torches with citronella to achieve proper luau lighting and to keep mosquitoes away.
We are in the process of putting together a luau section in our store to make it easier for you order the things you need in the quantities appropriate for your luau.

Dessert:
Fresh pineapple with minted sugar
Peel a pineapple, or as many as you need. Cut it in half lengthwise and then again in half. Remove the fibrous center from all pieces and then slice crosswise into thin slices About 1/4 inch thick. Arrange in a platter and sprinkle with a mixture of granulated sugar and finely chopped fresh mint, mixed together. Let it all absorve the flavor of the mint and serve chilled. You can accompnay it with ice cream or Whipped cream dollops.

Martha Stewart.com. Click on tv, type in luau. Or find Celebrations! and scroll down to luau. She did a segment on luau decorations and food. It looked sorta inexpensive. She tied ti leaves aroung an ice bucket, a grass hula skirt aroung a bar, and there were artificial flower lights. It looked cute.
