how do you know that he means it when he says that he loves you?

i have been with my boy for bout a week and have known him for 3 years. He has told me that he loves me, but i dont know if he is telling the truth! HELP!!!

i never believe it when my boyfriends tells me they love me. because half the time boys dont know what is the meaning of 'love' and just tells us girls they love us because they think we want to hear it, or we like hearing it.

if someone really truely loves another, they will show it not say it.

Well, I would say a wek of being a boyfriend is short, but if you have known each other for many years, and maybe he has always felt that way, it can be totally normal.

My advice, be honest with yourself and with him, even if he isn't...live life with no regrets and you will live a happier life. If he is lying about the way he feels, that is on him, and should not be reflected on you.

u don't say how old u are. Boys will sometimes say anything to get what they want be VERY CAREFULL with this one. If you are an adult (over 21) there is no explanation it's a strong feeling that heis sincere u will know if you don't have that feeling run for the hills

Well with the male, you cannot get a valid answer from what he says, but what he does instead. Does he treat you special and want you to feel safe when around him? Does he think about you when you are apart?
