think about it, if a gay couple wants to get married at church that teaches against homosexuality, that church will lose its tax free expection because it did not follow that law...where is the seperations of church and state here? doesn't that mean the stae can make laws to control the church? where is the freedom of religion...the more rights liberals get the less rights people who have religious convictions have...

And not be an alcoholic? I mean never gets angry or sad or weird or changes when they drink, but when they don't drink for a couple of days, they get really sad? Ok, I'm talking about myself. I drink atleast a couple of beers every night, and alot of times I get pretty drunk. When I don't drink for a couple of days, I get sad and think about old stuff, i can't function, and I can't sleep. But I'm perfectly happy and out going and make people laugh when I drink on a regular basis. When I don't drink, people are always asking me what's wrong and why am I getting upset so easily. I'm trying to quit drinking but I don't think I'm an alcoholic. I used to be pretty addicted and I used to drink alot of liquor, but I quit drinking for a while and started back, this time only drinking beer. I've not had any problems except for being sad when I don't drink. I feel guilty about mistakes I've made, I miss the girl i love, i feel worthless, and lonely. This is when I'm 100% sober. I want to QUIT

every now and then my computer decides to shut down it says its a thermal event what are some ways i can do to stop it from overheating right now i have a regular household fan trying to cool it along with the 2 it came with. is there any reason why it could be overheating please help!! thank you

I'm white and have been dating a Korean guy for three months. He's 27 and I'm 37. (he persued me.) We have fallen in love. He lives with his parents and is going to school. His mom is upset he's dating a 37 yr old white woman. His mom wants him to find a "good Korean girl." His father's upset that he's not moving fast enough with his education and wants him to work more. My boyfriend told me he needs time to think and feels stretched. His parents don't like him dating me. Are there any Koreans who can help me understand this situation?

I was sexually abused by step-father from age 7yrs old until 17 yrs old. Afraid to tell my mother, and when I did try, my step-father denied it. How can a mother know this has happened to her child and continue to let it happen. Was my mother blind or did she just turn the other cheek? I finally moved out when I turned 18...only way to stop the abuse. People never spoke of this back then...we had to keep it to our selves. I'm 38 now..and very open about abuse with our children...they talk to us about everything! :)

Ok, I would just like to know what are the living arrangements during basic training (ARMY)? I'm particularly curious about Fort Jackson in South Carolina. But if anyone could tell me about the places where they stay...like is it still barracks or am I behind the times and its like dorm rooms with two soldiers to a room, etc...Anything will help.
