John 3 explains that being born of water is the natural human birth, and being "born again" is the spiritual birth that takes place when a person believes and is saved. A change takes place on the inside. It is a supernatural act of God that takes place within a person.

John 3:3, "Except a man be born again" or "from above", i.e. have a new birth he cannot see or partake of the kingdom of God.

According to 2 Corinthians 5:17, "If any man be in Christ he is a new creature".

1 Peter 1:23 "Being born again, not of corruptible seed but of incorruptible, by the word of God which lives and abides forever."

The Bible speaks of circumcision of the heart, in Deuteronomy 30:6, "The Lord your God will give to you and to your seed a circumcision of the heart He will rid your heart and the hearts of your children of all defilement and you will love the Lord your God".

It is possible to have a new heart. David prayed this in Psalm 51:10, "Create in me a new, clean heart and put a new and right spirit within me".

If I am understanding you correctly, your question is are born again Christian the same as a newborn baby. In some ways they are the same. The only difference is that we are born physically to the world. Then when Christ comes into our hearts we are a new babe in Christ spiritually. When we were babies we had formula for food. As a Christian our food is the Holy Bible, going to church and socializing with other believers. That is how we grow as a Christian.

This same question was asked of Christ . The new birth is a spiritual birth . It is not a physical birth.
The soul that has sinned is separated from God. when one accepts the salvation and is obedient to the word of God ,the Lord views this as a new birth .
We who follow Christ are born again because we die to sin and arise a new creature .Read the book of Romans it explains everything about the salvation of God and will help you understand the new birth.

I don't think so. When jews believe in what Christ taught and followed Him, what were they called born again Jews? No, they were called Christians and not born again Christians. The word born again was used in the bible in order to convince those who do not believe in Christ. It was not for the Christians themselves. If you're a Christian and a sinner, then you do not have to be born again but REPENT. So, in reality there is no such thing as born again Christians. It was just used by smart people to convinced other Christians to increase their fellowship and be identified separately from the original church. So, I think you know the reason why.

born again Christian is an understatement. They were never Christians to start with. They simply read the Bible and possibly knew the truth, so they were Christians. But, probably did not feel it and most importantly few times practiced it.

Now, they probably do, or try everyday to overcome all temptations. Hence, born-again... I don't know I can't relate. I'm a fully born G-- follower with the help of Jesus

A born again CHRISTIAN Accepts JESUS CHRIST as their personal SAVIOR, understanding that He Freely gave up His life on the cross even when He could have called down a legion of angels to save him.
They also accept and understand that HE freely gave up HIS life, to wipe out every sin ever committed by all of mankind.
From the beginning to the end of time.
To be born is to come into the world, to be born again is to accept Jesus into your heart, to turn away from the sin's of the world , and to go on and sin no more.

Is your question do we (turn back into tiny infants physically) the answer would be NO:
Born again Christians are (turned into infants in Christ SPIRITUALLY): When you become aware that you have sinned, and came short of the Kingdom of Heaven,it is necessary to be born again spiritually, this is why Jesus died on the cross,so we could be redeemed, spiritually. You become spiritually an infant in Christ.
