We try to improve and progress all our lives only to die eventually. And then we bring other people into this world to make them suffer and have to face death. Isn't it cruel to children to bring them in this world where they have to eventually face death?

I strongly suggest you to see the film "Interview with the Vampire" starring Academy Award Nominee Tom Cruise and Academy Award Nominee Brad Pitt and Academy Award Winner Stephen Rea.

Once you have seen the film you can read "The Vampire Lestat" by Anne Rice.

just cause were advanced doesnt mean were no longer tied to instinct.having children is an instict, and it helps humans as a species survive.life is completely random and everything eveutally runs out of energy and withers.this is what makes humans special.we are aware of our inevetible demise and try to make life special.that is the point of living.for your life may be short, but even if you do nothing remarkable, you are always making life more enjoyable for someone else.so really, death and thinking about our deaths, is really wut makes life.

i agree with you. but at the same time i think that it is all the nature, you born, live or suffer, then die. what to do? thats the life we are living and have to live.
try not to think about this things, because it won't make any good to you. live your life, and be happy and make people around you happy.
good luck
