my girlfriend wants me to live in detroit bcuz she tells me they have way more jobs and better homes out there and have much more things to do so can someone tell me how it is living in detroit? like do they have amusment parks out there? any good spots that will make me totally forget about california?
i would ask this in the detroit room but its dead!!

I am willing to work hard but only have about 7 1/2 weeks of unemployment left and will need to get a new or good used car because I know you need a car there. Also any ideas on a cheap safe place to live near the beach would be appreciated. Thanks
BTW I did have a role in the Senior class play so I hope that will be a "leg up"...

I won't be able to rent a car but how is public transportation in L.A. and San Diego? Within the city and back and forth? Any cheap ways other than like probably Amtrak to go between the cities? Is there a subway system within either city? Or is the public transportation in them city buses? I'd appreciate any information, thanks!

So I want a friend to come visit me, he's in LA and I'm in Monterey. I'm trying to find the cheapest way for him to get here- all the flights I find are around $1300-$750 which is absurd. Am I missing something? It's a really short flight, so why is it so expensive?
Are there any trains or buses or anything? I know gas isn't going to be cheap for driving here.

I was wondering b/c I was reading about Burbank and they were saying that its basically where everyting has gone to like Universal,NBC,Disney,ABC studios to do movies..and Hollywood is not what is used to be in a since...so if a actor lives there would they have a better chance getting roles like open calls, or agencys, or even talent searchers, maybe extra work???

I live in Los Angeles, in the San Fernando Valley region. I want to know if there is anywhere else where i can get a my I.D. besides the DMV?

The DMV is always packed and i hate it. Besides the rude workers, the ones who don't bother to take a damn bath too disgust me!

ok first off, reading the title I know most of you are thinking im a idiot. But I have heard stories of stars getting famous within a few months of moving to LA. I know this is not typical, but I believe I have something special. I know that sounds lame, but my whole life everyone laughs at me. I mean people just laugh at me when I walk by them alot of times, ive never met anyone that I havent made laugh when we first talked. How come bums in downtown Los Angeles ask for money when they are walking around with big boom box radios that cost over $100.00? Yet they want money from you? They are now cleaning up downtown Los Angeles yet I still run into Bums there when I go there to shop and buy gear.
