The high-end hotels usually want Hotel Management degree. Look around for classes, etc.

First you need to apply
You would need to have good people skills
then you would need to Smile a lot, be courteous, friendly and
you would need to follow through with the customers needs according to the Hotel policy.

typing and basic computer skills would be a plus...but generally they just apply at entry level and train you on the job.
