Yeah, you really need to narrow down the parameters a bit. California is a big state.

It has 40 million people, the 5th largest economy in the world (by itself, without the other 49 states), and spreads across an area that's equivalent to going from Georgia to New York.

If you want to "do" California, at the bare minimum you should drive the Pacific Coast Highway and visit the three major cities along the way: San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.

Other must-sees inland include: Yosemite National Park, Lake Tahoe, Wine Country, Death Valley, Palm Springs, and the Disneyland Resort.

But again, that's just the tip of the iceberg. You could spend a lifetime in California and stll not see everything.

you mean all over california? it is a big place!

Santa Barbara has great hiking and great beaches,
San Francisco has tons to see,
the drive up the Pacific Coast Highway is nice (but curvy and slow compared to 101 or Interstate 5)
Big Sur, Carmel, Monterey, all beautiful!

Yosemite. Lake Tahoe, Point Reyes, Carmel, San Francisco, Mission Bay, Lone Cypress, Napa Valley, Sonoma Valley, etc, etc.

There is a lot to see and do here, it just depends on what you like to do and how much money you have.
