Micheal if you get some interesting ones please let us know...Check out sites for L.A. Railroads and Huntington...You will find some real interesting pictures including a map of the track for the trolley car to the sea railroad, that hugged the Santa Monica Mts. to the Palasades and then went along the shore all the way to Palos Verde Estates....the photo is about 80 or 90 years old..
Oh and Redondo had an "ANGEL FLIGHT" type rail road right near the beach..there were a lot of "ANGEL FLIGHTS" AROUND TOWN..

Check out the Redondo Library located at Torrance Bl and the ocean. Go west on Torrance Bl till the end and the library is on the left.
