Zuma in Malibu
Lots of Lifeguards, clean, safe.

Here is an insider tip, especially if you have small children, enjoy siting on the beach having lunch, drinking beer and having a great day. The beach is in a cove so it is perfect for kids.

Go to this beach: You can eat a great meal, have a fantastic beach, easy parking. Parking is $3 with a restaurant validation. Can't beat that.

Bob Morris' Paradise Cove Beach Café is the only restaurant in Malibu that is right on the sand with its own private beach and cove. Sarong-wearing locals drink Coronas from icy buckets two feet from the water, while barefoot diners snag seats in the sand after ordering food and drinks.

Crystal Cove is pretty cool. It's in Southern California in between Laguna Beach and Corona Del Mar.

I love Mission Bay in San Diego. La Jolla is beautiful as well. Locally, though - I love Laguna Beach and, of course, Surf City (Huntington Beach)!

Huntington Beach, aka Surf City, USA.

In LA County, Santa Monica and Venice are pretty happenin' beaches. Don't stick around after dark, though, it gets pretty dicey.
