We want move next year sometime in September. I wanted to know if Fredericksburg,Tx is good place to raise a family because we have children ages 5 and 2. We want our kids to go to a good school and we have been looking for a good and somewhat small town. We do love the hill country and we love parks and the outdoors, that's why we thought that maybe Fredericksburg,Tx would be a nice town. My husband and I have visited Fredericksburg,Tx in the past (briefly) but I wanted to hear feedback from people/families that have just moved there or have lived there .... just things about the parks, schools and neighborhoods. Thank You and I greatly appreciate the information.

I've been to NYC, but not London. Going by what I've read about both cities, however, as well as my personal NYC experience, I'd say that I'd feel much safer in NYC. Even in Harlem, all I did was mind my own business, not take pictures, and not make a spectacle of myself and I was fine.

While NYC's overall crime, including murder and rape, rates are higher, the crime is predominantly concentrated in WaHI, South Bronx, and parts of south and east Brooklyn. Even in these locales, the rate continues to gradually decline. For the most part, all five boroughs are safe.

London has a lower crime rate, but crime is interspersed throughout the entire city (minus Downtown,) giving the city more of an unsafe feel. Add to this the fact that its city limits is geographically much smaller than NYC. Am I right or wrong?

So, do you feel safer in NYC or London? Thanks!

I am going to Las Vegas for a trade show (Mandalay Bay). I would like to stay in a cheap but clean hotel ($40-90). It does not have to be on the strip. The strip is a nightmare.I am looking for a hotel that have an easy exit from I-15. It could also be on the other side of I-15. Any ideas?

I ride the NYC Subway pretty often, and I think it is so funny when you see people staring into the distance to see if the train is coming. They just stand there staring. They may look away for a second, but then they look back into the tunnel, squinting, bending all ways possible to get an even better look to see if the train is coming. As if watching the tunnel is going to change when the train comes. I admit I am one of these people, but I also find it very funny.

I'm a novice with limited horseback riding experience. I'll be going at the end of December. I'm also interested in Redwood trails in the area.

I am planning on attending the March 7th Michael Buble concert in Kansas City Missouri. This will be my second time seeing him in concert - and I will have to drive like 6 hours to get there! I am a huge fan (walked down the aisle to "That's All", he's on my key chain, and my ring tones) I was wondering if anyone had any idea how I could obtain backstage passes without spending a TON of money. Any ideas?

Mainly, because it's more attractive to the opposite sex to be like, "let's go to the condo" instead of "hey, let's go to the Motel 6 baby!" ya know?

I want to know what kind of clothes to pack. Should I even bother to bring shorts? Do I need to bring a coat or jacket?

Any additional information is welcomed!

Also, feel free to add any tourist ideas, etc.

We will be going to Hornets vs. Cavs, DDay Museum, Audubon Zoo & Aquarium, Imax, & a paddle-boat cruise.
