Tell me which one is better, Long Beach or Newport Beach California.
Tell me what it's positive things are and negative things.
& how much is Long Beach compared to Newport Beach?
Are they different in prices for houses/ apartments.

I have to travel and i need to switch buses in NYC port authority but i have some time to go explore and see the city. i heard all kinds of 'rumours' surrounding how they make sure ppl walk in with $$$ and leave broke as sin. No really i have, i heard they use every sly cunning trick in the book to ensure you stay in a casino long enough as to lose more than you can win.

From the a/c settings to the free watered down drinks - ive been told its a place designed to get rich off of gamblers. Never been to Las Vegas, probably be a great laugh im sure.

I am flying into Miami International Airport bright and early in the morning in order to go on a cruise. The cruise doesn't leave until late that afternoon so I am looking for a fun activity for my boyfriend and I to do to pass time during the day. Any suggestions? I am beginning to plan our 10th anniversary trip. It'll be a suprise to my husband. America has so many beautiful places. Help me with a suggestion on a vacation destination within the continental US (no passports). We are currently in NC. My dream is a cozy little town with some neat "touristy" things to but nothing overwhelming. NYC is NOT what I am looking for. Beautiful, relaxing, and calm are my criteria.

p.s. Just an FYI: The suprise thing is okay. He suprised me with out honeymoon. We went to Charleston, SC and it was lovely.

I've poured through previous questions involving Las Vegas, but I'm not satisfied. My husband was offered a job making $50,000 at the MGM Grand in Vegas. It seems silly to not take it. He's making about $30,00 here in Tennessee. My dilema is our family. We have a 2.5 year old and another on the way. Does anyone know, from direct or indiect experience, what raising a family there is like? We both grew up in Orlando, so we are used to the tourism. We just (6 months ago, before my husband had an abrupt job change) bought a house here in Tennessee and love in, but just aren't making a whole lot of money.
