Are there areas of the city that should be avoided? We will be attending a concert at the Exit/In and will be staying in a hotel, but I'm not sure what is the best area to reserve one in.

I am interested in visiting Tahoe, mainly for snowboarding, and a side visit of casino's at night. What are the best ski-resorts and how far away are they from MAJOR casinos? (i don't want to go to a slow-run-down mom-and-pop casino where everyone knows each other's first middle and last name)

Should I be a good sport and try to lose it so I keep filling the casinos pockets with more and more money? I mean, if I do that, then the casinos will admire me, but if I take the money and run, they'll hate me and burn all my comps in a bon fire, right?

Don't they hate you if you win "their money"? So shouldn't I be a good sport and give it all back and smile as I walk out a happy loser?

I've never been to NYC. Since 9/11, I've seen a number of pictures and slideshows of the World Trade Center.

A few times, I've noticed a little glass building, resembling, perhaps, a Nautilus shell, nestled in among those towering structures.

I don't know anyone who knows what it is.

Can you help with that?
