I've never been to NYC. Since 9/11, I've seen a number of pictures and slideshows of the World Trade Center.

A few times, I've noticed a little glass building, resembling, perhaps, a Nautilus shell, nestled in among those towering structures.

I don't know anyone who knows what it is.

Can you help with that?

It's The Winter Garden at The World Financial Center. If you go there, be sure to visit Custard Beach, the best soft ice cream ever - ask for a taste of creme brulee. Also, look for the wedding parties who take photos there. Some very upscale shops there and Century21 is across the street.

It's the Winter Garden which is located by where the Twin Towers once stood and nearby World Financial Center, was slightly damaged by the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
