Whenever or wherever you win money, it's YOUR money! Your thinking is all wrong. In Las Vegas it's a take no prisoners mentality on both sides of the table or slot. If you win, the money is yours not theirs. For example, you play $100 on a slot, you win a jackpot of say $4000. That $4000 is yours buddy, not theirs. You are NOT playing with their money, ever, it's YOUR money. If you lose it back, including your original $100, you've lost $4100 of YOUR OWN money! Once you think about it that way, you'll know to take your winnings (money) and RUN! The casinos do like it when they can show winners and won't burn your comps either. Comps are meant to bring you back with the hope that you will lose! Also, "a happy loser" is an oxymoron! Have you ever heard of a 'Happy loser"? Do losers smile? Right.
The rules of thumb are:
1- the house always wins (almost).
2- the longer you play, the more you will lose (a study was done proving this).
3- Budget your money and stick to it.
4- if you lose, don't try to 'win back' the money, bite the bullet and leave.
5- if you win, 'run with the money".
Now go and smile for the right reasons. Have fun and good luck.

If you win a jackpot you will be treated like royalty. They will offer you a free room or upgrade. They will give you a free vacation on your next stay. They want you to come back to them so you will loose the money you won from them. Do not worry, they are actually happy for you and they will want your photo to show them giving you the money. The city is based on loosers not winners but they have to show off the winners when they happen. Enjoy all the special treatment you will receive.

If you win a jackpot, take the money!..but pay your taxes!
A number of years ago I hit small "jackpots" and let with about 2 grand. Hasn't happened since but it sure was fun.
Don't feel bad, the casinos like to see a few winners, it gets the crowd excited to lose their money.
Most important, have fun!

Take the money!!!
If you win over $1199.00 you will have to fill out a tax form and the IRS will TAX you.
Don't forget to tip the help. They really appreciate it for the service they provide
Take the rest and go see some shows and have a few good dinners.
