I'm moving from North Carolina to Texas for a new job with JP Morgan. I will be working in Fort Worth but I am considering living in Dallas. I'm not familiar with the area but I hear that the traffic can get pretty bad. Is a commute from Dallas to Fort Worth realistic or should I just try to find a place in Fort Worth?? I want to live somewhere that I can have a lot of fun. I'm a young guy/23 and I want to have an exciting social life. I know I will be very homesick so I want to have a lot of fun to keep me from missing home so much. Which city has the most for a young man to enjoy? I want to enjoy a nice night life and dating scene. Please give your educated opinion on which city would be a better fit for my situation. The social scene and the commute are the only deciding factors for me really. Only pick one city and try to sell me on why it's better than the other. This will really help me make a choice. And please suggest where I should live in whatever city you choose. Thanks :-)

I just want the best advice regarding driving to do all of our sighseeing vs. using pub. transport. or walking everywhere. Keep in mind we are a family of 4 with a very young daughter, should we take along a light stroller everywhere? Would we be able to get a lot accomplished if we drive?

I was wondering if there was a place in Dallas that lets you just rent their horses and go at your own pace, rather than having to follow on a trail ride.

I am relocating and moving from the East Bay Area to the San Diego Downtown area. I'm hoping for something around $800 or so, but any info as to the least expensive, even if it is more than my target price range, would be helpful. Even places close to SDSU would be helpful because I will be going for a dual degree. Thanks.

My family and I are going to Disney sometime this summer. We have four days to spend at disney and we would like to do 3 parks and one waterpark. We cannot get a hopper pass. Anybody have any suggestions for which parks we should go to (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM, Animal Kingdom), or waterparks (Typhoon Lagoon, or Bilzzard Beach)?????

Thanks!

My husband and I are thinking of maybe moving to Nevada because my brother and parents are there.

My husband is concerned about the casinos. I would like to live as close to the Vegas area as possible because that is where my brother and parents are.

My husband said he would like to be at least 45 minutes to an hour away from the casinos.

He doesn't care if the grocery stores etc. have slot machines. He just doesn't want to live close to a major casino.

I have been told that there is no city in Nevada that is that far from a casino.

I have been lead to believe that there is a casino within 15-30 minutes from just about every town in Nevada.

My husband used to have a gambling problem and doesn't want to be tempted by having a huge casino in our backyard.

Grocery stores slots or whatever are fine, but he is concerned about the casinos.

If you can suggest a city that is far from a casino, but still within a few hours from my family in Vegas that would be great.

family affairs and what not. so my question is this: does any one know of any good places to go that are not very expensive. I’m a nanny and my new employers have said their small town is about a 38 min drive or a 20 min train ride from manhattan. I like museum type places and right now I live near San Francisco so if any one could give me any ideas I would love it! oh plus do you happen to know if any type of Renaissance fair or medieval fair visits the New York City area ???? thank you for any and all helpful answers!!!

Hi. I'm really interested in Marine Mammals and want to work with them. I know that the Monterey Bay area has some great volunteer options and possibly jobs. I will be graduating from college next year and want to move out to California, but I know its expensive and I dont have any connections. I was wondering if any of you had suggestions for places that are within driving distance of marine mammal centers/colleges that are not extremely expensive and if there are any other places in Cali I should be looking for work/housing. Thanks so much.

I've been reading a lot of negative reviews about the Westgate Lakes Resort near Universal Studios down in Orlando.

It's ranked #162 out of 289 hotels in the area over at TripAdvisor ( http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g34515-d268861-Reviews-Westgate_Lakes_Resort_Spa-Orlando_Florida.html ) and has gotten 4 bad reviews posted recently over at Resideo ( http://www.resideo.com/us/florida/orlando/81982959.hotel?w=1 ).

Anywho, was just wondering if anyone here has had a similar experience, especially in regards to the timeshare sales people.

We are looking at two places. Both sleep 5 which is important unless we leave one child behind : )
I vote for the Moderate Port Orleans Alligator Bayou starting at $145.00 and hubby prefers the Polynesian Deluxe resort starting at $329 which also has access to the monorails. I hear the busing can be more of a pain and involves waiting.
I think that cheaper rooms is the way to go because we will spend most of our time in the park with boys 8, 10, and 13. He says lets spend it and enjoy the extra's. Have any of you stayed at either resort. Any input?
Also what about the food packages that can go with the resort? A savings or not??
This is our first trip so we could use the advice!
Thank you!
