Does anyone know of any cheap motels with weekly rates would be better in Chicago NOT the suburbs that are in a safe neighborhood?

I'm not sure if you would be interested but there is the Hostel on Wabash and Congress thats $35 a night...they might even have a weekly rate.

There is a days inn just west of the loop that is under $100. Check in river north area also.
Check the weekend rates on downtown hotels...sometimes they have rock bottom at good hotels.

Unfortunately I don't know any that I'd say are in a "safe" neighborhood. If you want to stay in the city you have to shell out the $$$ to stay in a safe area.
