The route is something like 86th to 55th on 5th or somewhere like that on the east side. I want to say that it begins at 86th and then travels south, but I'm not 100% positive. If you're at Grand Central, take the 6 up to the Met stop at 83rd. Then, you'll be enroute.

A couple of suggestions: The congestion in the area will be HELL. The Tony Awards are going on at the same time at Radio City, so the whole hoopla of Broadway stars coming in combined with the PRP hoopla will be a mess around 55th. But luckily, you'll be underground. But if the subways are especially crowded come Sunday, you'll know why.

I hope you have fun at the parade! I'll be celebrating the Tonys!

Take the Metro north to Grand Central. When you get to Grand Central go outside and make a right going to towards 5th avenue. When you get to the corner of 5th avenue and 42nd street, make a right and walk 2 blocks to 44th street. That is the starting point of the parade. Get there early though. There is going to be an estimated 1 million people at the parade.

If you're taking the train (metro North) from CT into NYC and being left off @ Grand Central Station (42nd Street/Lexington - Park Avenue).

Exit for 42nd Street and walk west towards 5th Avenue ( 3 blocks). The parade usually starts around 11am and runs on 5th Avenue from 44th Street up to 86th Street.
