BF and I will be staying there in August for a week. Does anyone have any experience staying there? Any advice?

I really miss NYC at times. My job relocated me to atlanta. and atlanta is nice and friendly but not NYC.

I graduate high school in four weeks and I plan on moving this summer, I live in Florida and I really want to make my way up to New York, somewhere in New York City. I hate it here. I live in a Hell hole. Are apartments expensive there? Im going to need to work obviously. I need help all around, tips and any information anyone can possibly give me about moving and what I can do to sustain myself. This is the begining of my life and I dont plan on living some half assed lack luster existence. If New York isnt a good local perhaps someone can tell me of some other amazing places I can go to. Anything you all can tell me will be greatly appreciated.

I love to go on weekend trips with my 10 yr old son and sometimes a 3rd person. I usually stay in a hotel using Priceline but I thought a pop up camper or other small camper would be more fun with building a fire at night and meeting other campers,etc. I would probably want a campground with showers since I would prefer not to get too expensive a camper having a shower.

very dirty, no power for day and half. had no clean linens. water smelled of sever(sulfur)the rug very dirty, made feet black. it is located in orlando fl. complained to manager felt bad he had to take the brunt of complaints.

If anyone knows of a link to official information, that would be helpful. I've checked various sites and can find requirements for licensing but they don't address this specific question. I've been told it is legal in LA, to drive with an adult family member prior to obtaining a permit, but can't find official confirmation of this anywhere.
