Several of the Days Inns around Orlando are not run by American citizens and they do not realize what is meant by quality. There's a large Days Inn complex on Landstreet Road in South Orlando, there's another on West Sand Lake Road. These two Days Inns are not on anyones, "Good List". You should have been offered a full refund. There is no reason for anyone to be put in a room under these conditions. Seems like the owner wasn't around, most like this never are.

Hopefully you paid your bill by credit card. Now start the process of disputing the charge. Contact the Chamber of Commerce, everything can be handled via the internet. There's not too much searching, once you are at their site, you'll be asked city, business, etc. Just follow instructions and follow up as soon as a reply is sent.

I would never recommend a Days Inn for a vacation, especially not a family vacation, even if your on a tight budget. If your looking for an economy-based hotel there are many other reputable chains that could offer a better experience.

Which Days Inn? I stayed in the Days in Maingate East. The air quality was not good. There was also no free breakfast.

Sorry that you had such a bad experience. The manager should have addressed your issues and either moved you to another room or comp. you for your inconvenience.
