Most just grab a cab if they don't have transfers, even with transfers I never use them, a cab is fast and efficient.

This site covers all of the transportation available in Las Vegas
http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com "VEGAS INFO" >transportation >This site also has info on all the free hotel shuttles<

This site is the official site of the Las Vegas Taxi Authority
http://www.taxi.state.nv.us/faresfees.htm
Keep in mind, the fares listed are the "minimum" expected.
It's going to run you around $15 from McCarran to Caesars >after you wait in the taxi line, the "usual" wait is between 30 minutes and 1 hour. If you arrive during a special event, large convention or Friday night, the wait "can" be more than 2 hours for a taxi. If you plan to use Taxi's I would take down the TA phone number, if you feel you have been cheated(long hauling is a problem in LV) call the TA from the cab before you pay the fare. A cabbie can get his license suspended and be heavily fined for long hauling customers.

If you travel light you can catch the city bus at the airport. The #108 Paradise and #109 Maryland Parkway stop at the airport about every 6 minutes. As you walk towards the baggage claim area at McCarran on your right is an escalator down with the sign "Ground Level Transportation 0" - take the escalator down, go out the doors, the bus stop is on the right. It will cost you $2.50 for a 24 hour pass.

You can take either the #108 Paradise or #109 Maryland Parkway "North" bus then transfer to the #202 Flamingo West that will take you to the center strip. You could take the #109 Maryland Pkwy "South" bus out to the SSTT(South Strip Transfer Terminal) this takes about 8 minutes. Then transfer to the waiting Deuce bus(strip bus) which will take you straight down the strip and stop across the street from Caesars. It will cost you an extra .50c(over the $2.50) and the driver will give you another 24 hour pass.
http://www.rtcsnv.com >bus info >You can take the bus if you carry no more luggage than what the airlines allow as carry on(maybe, slightly more).

Limos - I suggest LV Limo if you decide to go this way. $40-$60

Shuttle bus - IMHO this is the worst way to go - $6-$7 to Caesars - You have to wait for one that's going to "your" area of the strip, then they wait for it to fill up, then you get to wait until they get to your hotel on their list. They don't care who they hand your luggage to, and good luck if you "really" expect them to pick you up at the appointed time to return you to the airport.

We go to LV 2-3 times a year for 2 weeks or more at a time and have for over 20 years. We use the CAT/Deuce bus and free hotel shuttles for 99% of our transportation.

Most of the hotels have courtesy shuttles that pick you up from the airport. Find out if your hotel has one too. Otherwise taxi rates are also quite reasonable.

I like the shuttles.....It is $9 round trip from the strip.....I have used it twice. This way you don't have to worry about cabbies taking the long way to the strip....you pay a set price and the service is very reliable.
