I live in Hawaii, on the island of Oahu. Hawaii, the state, is tropical (referring to the fact that it is located near the Tropic of Cancer). This causes the climate to remain moist. It rains at least a little bit everyday year-round. We spot rainbows daily! Hawaii has a temperate climate (where the temperature does not fluctuate dramatically through out the day or the year). The humidity is relatively high, but our trade winds do keep the humidity ~80%. If you are looking for the daily weather forecast it is almost always the same... High 85, Low 75 with windward and mauka showers, Trades up to 15mph.

I once asked a local...I think that thru some of the year it is like about 85 or so...and the rest of the year it gets to be like in the 90's or more humid!

I remember I was there for a wedding..and it was the month of June, I think...I remember going inside to take a cold shower...and well, when I came outside...with my shirt and skirt on...I felt like I had NEVER even taken a shower...I started to drip from the heat, immediately! LOL! I don't do well in that type of humidity! But, at night, it was beautiful...balmy, with light winds...and my family walked along the beach shores...near Waikiki...and it was really ,really nice! but, I will add that it rained lightly...and the islanders call it "blessings"(which I loved...it cooled me off! My family complained...but, I loved it!) and later, b4 we left....it rained really really hard! but, after that ,it was okay! It is a very tropical and beautiful place, and I will never forget it! I also loved the locals...they were all really warm and caring people!!!

During the day it's always warm, humid -between 78-94 degrees depending on what month it is. Beautiful sunny summer like weather, tropical & off/on rain here & there. During the night it's breezy/cool. It's like this all year round. Great beach weather!
