I understand that this is the older part of Vegas, but to anyone who has stayed at the Plaza, what was your experience, and would you choose to stay there again?

1. Is there a way to get from the Space Needle to Bainbridge Island by road? I checked maps and it looks like the shortest route is about 50-70 miles long. I know you can take the Seattle-Bainbridge Fry by ferry, but I don't know if you can drive. The route I saw starts from Tacoma and goes over the bridge and then hooks up to Route 3.

2. How early/late do the commuter ferries run?

i have been offered a job in Bellevue and need to find a good area to live. I have 4 kids, so schools and lack of crime are important. We are on a tight budget and would have a max of 325k to spend on a house. Any advice? It would be nice to keep the commute under and hour if possible, but I hear Bellingham is a really nice place with great schools. Mapquest shows 1.5 hour drive time from Bellingham. Is that right? Thanks for any advice.

...And how do I Become one? They are like camp monitors, or overseers, but don't get paid directly; their compensation comes in the form of free camping and hookup privileges.

My sister is going to NYC for the weekend with some people she works with (all over 21) for a conference and apparenlty, some clubbing....and she is BEGGING to borrow my ID (I'm 23, she's two weeks shy of 21). We don't look that much alike, so that worries me, but mostly I just worry that something would happen to her and it would be MY fault! What are the chances of her pulling this off? I feel like a heel for not giving it to her, since she will be the only one in the group underage, but my motherly/sisterly instinicts are telling me not to do it. Am I justified? Does anyone have any scary "i borrowed my friends id" stories that I can use to convince her it's a bad idea? What would the consequenses be if they didn't believe the ID was her's?

Any advisory would be appreciated as I am looking to visit.

I plan to go to San Diego Comic Con next year in 08. I like to plan things very early, and I like to figure out prices and things otherwise they're constantly in my head.

Anyway, if I could I would drive there, but sadly I'm like 13, and no one I know would ever drive me that far.

So, what would be the cheapest mode of transportation, other than a normal car, to get from New Jersey to San Diego, California? Plane, train, a series of buses or a series of taxis? Or anything else?

My boyfriend is moving to Atlanta to be with me, but he's not having much luck hearing back from jobs. What can he do to look for jobs, get call backs, and find a nice place here? He has to stay where he is until he finds something for sure and he's trying to leave within a month or so. He's been planning this move and has had the money saved for a while..he just wants to leave

OK I am going to Las Vegas in the end of march. I have been there may be 7 or 8 times already. But I am open to people's suggestions. Somethings about myself: First I don't gamble. I am not rich but not poor either. I enjoy siteseeing, eating, and I am a drinker. I also like adventures as long as it is not too dangerous. So tell me about the places for good eating, good clubbing, good drinking, and siteseeing

I currently live in the Northeast, but am considering moving to North Carolina. I'm married with two children and I want to find a place that is extremely family-friendly and that has activities for the whole family to take part in. I'm somewhat familiar with the Greensboro area, but just wondering if anyone has some ideas about other possible places to start looking including communities. Thanks so much for all of your help!!!
