I currently live in the Northeast, but am considering moving to North Carolina. I'm married with two children and I want to find a place that is extremely family-friendly and that has activities for the whole family to take part in. I'm somewhat familiar with the Greensboro area, but just wondering if anyone has some ideas about other possible places to start looking including communities. Thanks so much for all of your help!!!

Greensboro/Winston Salem is a good area. If you want a smaller town, check out Mt. Airy, a half hour or so north of Winston and just by the Virginia border. It is a quiet little place, and being so close to Winston you get the advantage of both towns.

I am a native of NC and have lived here all of my life...I have also lived in serveral cities in my state (Winston-Salem for 25 years)...Charlotte is a wonderful city if you are young and like the hustle-and-bustle of a large city...Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area is nice also if you don't mind living near several Universities or the Research Triangle Area...I now live (and was raised in) in the Wilmington area...actually, I work in Wilmington and live in Southport...35 miles SE of Wilmington...it is a wonderful area to live and raise and family...we hardly ever have any snow (unlike the North Western part of NC that does get a lot), and we are right on the Atlantic Ocean, Intercoastal Waterway and Cape Fear Rivers...if you think you would like beach life, this is the place! There aren't too many areas in NC that would not be appropriate for raising a family...

North Carolina is unique in that it can offer anyone the best of both worlds. If you like the beach it has one of those, if you like the mountains, it has some of those. Charlotte seems to be the highest residential boom rate, along with the Raleigh Durham area. Take your pick you really cna't miss

I in basic terms would sell each and every thing I certainly have and flow there in the event that they do. - good, you prefer to pass to Saudi Arabia or Iraq to coach. area a million. The North Carolina known assembly asserts that the form of the country does not restrict states or their subsidiaries from making rules respecting a company of religion. - they might "assert" something they prefer, that doesn't recommend that's criminal.
