If you don't stop, it takes about 26 hours including rest stops for gas, bathroom breaks, food. If you take a night to catch some sleep, then save yourself 2 days. The best thing to do is to drive through the night, avoiding traffic in crowded areas. Also, Miami's US-1 is horrible around the predictable times - add in the customary road rage and you've got yourself a predicament if you don't like driving in stressful situations. Try to drive around noonish around here.

ihave driven from CT to naples (jut opposite o ft lauderdal) in about 26to 28 hours. I drive straight through and only stop when I need gas and to take a 2 hour nap if I dont have another driver wwith me. Miami is about 2 hours south of that. I drive a bit fast, so depending on your plans, actual driving time at the speed limit witout traffic should be about 30 hous give or take.

It's a 24 hour drive to Orlando, so Miami would be about 28 hours - assuming all good conditions - no traffic problems or bad weather, contruction, etc.

22 hours driving time from downtown Miami to one of the tunnels or the GW bridge, via NJ Tpk & I-95 (or the reverse) including fuel & fast food & pee stops. Add whatever overnites & sightseeing you want. Add an hour if you hit DC during rush hour.
