It's in Southern California. but there also may be one in FL and I believe that there is also a Long Beach in N.Y.
How ever the most famous Long Beach is in So. Cal. and depending on what part of it you go to, it can be very beautiful and then it has some of the most dangerous areas as well. I should know, I grew up there and my grandparents still live there.

THE long beach you are asking about is most likely in southern CA, however there is a Long Beach on the coast of North Carolina as well...my sister used to live there!
