We are new to Vegas and gambling. We have only been there once to get married (didn't do much gambling that time - only slots and video poker) and didn't know things like signing up for "player's cards", etc. We are going back in March and I recently purchased a coupon book. My question is what does "$5 matchplay" mean? (I am assuming they match your bet or something?) Also what is "2x points", or "free ace"? Anywhere where I can learn what all these terms mean? How do you go about using these perks? Thanks!

highway names & #'s confuse the bejeez out of me. like US 41 is called lake shore drive. can u help me name the major highways with there # and maybe the direction they go. Like what is the 290 or the 55. I suck at reading maps. I'm home based in the chicago area if that helps

I am relocating, and need to have info about the better areas of the city. I heard Cameron Park in nice as well as El Dorado Hills. I was born in Carmichael. Can anyone give me specifics on these areas? I see that there are alot of apartments in my price range in and around FLorin Mall. Also some around Fulton Avenue. I found a great place in MDR and a decent place right next to work. I am wondering if it would be worth the extra commute time to get the MDR apartment. I know the 405 is a nightmare but is it possible to bypass all that traffic by taking local streets (PCH perhaps). The MDR apartment is right by the marina and my work is near Bundy and SM Blvd btw.
