I had a discussion with a work colleague and we both want to know which Disney opened first, ie what is the original Disney park, the one in Florida or the one in California? I know magic kingdom was 1st but where did it open first?

I grew up on the west side of Chicago and I want to move there again. The neighborhood took a turn for the worse in the 80's (drugs, gun violence). I was wondering if anyone knows if it's going to get better anytime soon. I am uninterested in the ethic make up of the neighborhood, I just want it to be safe. I am looking at the Austin neighborhood near Lockwood & Thomas.

If you live in the Austin area, your advice is especially welcome!

I'm in San Fransisco in the morning only on Saturday and I want to do some shopping. I'm looking for unique finds, not chain stores. Is there an area where i can get funky but not streety clothing? To give you an indication of what i like, i love shopping in paris where you can get clothing with a twist.

I recently moved from Chicago to Hagerstown, Maryland for a new job offer. The only bad thing is that I left all my friends in Chicago. I moved here without knowing anyone. I just did it to have a job. Moving here is like starting over. How can I start making new friends? What should I do? I'm really an outgoing person but I have not met new people. I'm supposed to catch an international flight at JFK after landing at LGA. Is 2 and half hours enough time to get my checked in laugages, catch a ride to JFK, pass through the security checks and still catch my flight. I'm travelling with 2 big suitcases and a carry on bag.
