I recently moved from Chicago to Hagerstown, Maryland for a new job offer. The only bad thing is that I left all my friends in Chicago. I moved here without knowing anyone. I just did it to have a job. Moving here is like starting over. How can I start making new friends? What should I do? I'm really an outgoing person but I have not met new people. Also, I'm not into going to the bars by myself. HELP ME MAKE NEW FRIENDS!!!!

you can start my saying hi to the people you see. If you have a job there in Maryland there must be other people there. Start a conversation in the break room with someome. Join a club, church or gym. if you go where your interests are you will meet people that are interested in the same things you are. If you like to play tennis then go to a tennis court and meet other tennis players. If you're into books start hanging out at the library.... This can be an exciting time for you if you get out there and do something. The best way to meet interesting people is to be interesting.

well the best thing to do is try to meet new people. For instance try to talk to other people and look around for people that are similar to you.
