Depends on what you mean by around.

There are several hot springs being run as resorts north of the bay area.
Harbin Hot Springs near Middletown
Calistoga Hot Springs in Calistoga (and several others)

There is the undeveloped Sykes Hot Springs near Big Sur. You have to hike to get to it.

What do you consider around? My personal fave is in San Luis Obispo, about 3 hours south. Called Sycamore Mineral Springs. Otherwise, locally within an hours' drive, Calistoga has tons of spas and resorts.
