depends on what you think "good shopping" are you going to shop in cheap stores (banana republic, jcrew) or pricier shops (dolce and gabbana, prada?)
anywhere from $800 and day and upwards.

Depends what you are going for and when?
there is a great Mall in New Jersey go to the Port Authority on 42nd street - just down from Times Square - and ask for bus details
I have been just before Xmas - came back 24th Dec and Bloomingdale's was not very good and Macy's was BRILL
it is just your Donald Duck - I mean luck, not the other one

Depending on what you want to shop for, and what kind of stores you like, I would think you can easily spend a minimum of $100 and up from there until your credit card is maxed out.

Depends on where you go...the higher end stores like Bloomingdales, Saks or Barneys, 300 would be a good start!
