I had a discussion with a work colleague and we both want to know which Disney opened first, ie what is the original Disney park, the one in Florida or the one in California? I know magic kingdom was 1st but where did it open first?

DisneyLand opened first in Anaheim, California on July 17, 1955. Walt Disney World opened nearly 30 years later in Lake Buena Vista, Florida on October 1, 1971.

Disney Land in California was first by quite a few years. I think it opened in 1956 or 1957. cheers
